The childhood obesity epidemic is not only sweeping the United States but is rearing it's ugly head across the globe, making this epidemic everyone's responsibility globally and personally.
There have already been many steps taken to help kids fight off their excess weight and educate them and their parents about the dangers of obesity, how to take precautions to ensure their child does not end up on the overweight road, and how to eat for health. Celebrity chefs like Jamie Oliver have educated schools and families on how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle with regards to regular eating habits, dinners, lunches and snacks. Michelle Obama has also given this topic a huge portion of her time and wisdom.
Adding to the stomp down of childhood obesity is Primrose Educational Preschools.
In the past five years I have seen, heard of and been involved in several fund raising events for various purposes, but this one, is one that everyone around the world can be involved in without ever leaving their home. It's fun, gets the kids instantly moving, and everyone gets to vote.

Primrose Educational Preschools presents it's Annual Family Dance-off Fundraiser Event.
The dance-off supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals, which collectively treat 17 million children annually for every illness and injury imaginable.
This is one fundraiser you will not want to miss and will surely want to be involved in. Why wouldn't you? It's fun, easy, requires little to no monetary spending, and it's all done online. Not to mention the cause, which as I mentioned prior is the responsibility of all of us, not just the kids who are fighting the bulge - they need our help and our support even though they may not know us.
Think about it this way, if you have ever been on a diet, you know how hard it is to succeed. Imagine how hard it is when your a kid and you have to find that courage, strength, and will to re-frame and sustain every day. Lets show these kids that the whole world is behind them, they are not alone, and they will persevere. And when they become parents they will be the wiser - ensuring their kids start off on the right path when it comes to health, fitness and food.
So, now you are dying to know how you can be a part of this fun loving, much needed fundraiser. So let's get to it!
